Man...haven't posted on this forum forever. Here goes it:

Good:
- Most enjoyable game I've ever had the pleasure to play. 3,000 hours says something, no game comes close.
- 7 Heroes. Thank you ANet. Henchmen weren't really bad, they just weren't good. Now I can just load up my 7 heroes and be on my way. You may call me anti-social, but it's what PUGs done to me. I also can just leave for 10 minutes and my heroes won't scream and curse at me.
- PvP. My most enjoyable moments come from PvP. From the rush of GvG to the randomness of RA. Low lvl PvP is still enjoyable, High-end...meh.
- Adding onto PvP: The revival of JQ/FA. One of my most favorite updates.
- Nightfall campaign. Added stuff I couldn't live without today. Inscriptions, DoA (well, in a later update), and just a great campaign.
- Making treasure hunter account wide. Thank god.
- Updating the Gladiator title. Bumped me to R3 haha.
- Speed Clears. Haters gonna hate, but as someone with not much time; Speed Clears are awesome. FoWSC is was fun, no idea if it's still alive, but it was it fun.
- Eye of the North. I love the Hall of Monuments, it's given me a reason to keep on playing. Plus EoTN added some good stuff like PvE skills. It did some bad also...see below.
- WiK. Some of the best content in all of GW1.
- All the updates to pre-searing. I love ANet for what they've done to this place. It started as a small community and it's now huge. I do miss pre-update Pre-Searing though, just because it felt nice being in such a tight-nit community. Now it's like walking into a brand new community. Still a good update though. Maybe someday I'll finish that LDoA I've been trying to get slowly for 3 years...3 levels left.
- Zaishen Challenges. Great way to get me motivated to do some content with PUGs.
- Probably a lot more, but I can't think of any.

Bad:

- EoTN titles are a major grind. I really wish ANet didn't make them so grindy.
- Kaineng is the stupidest part of Guild Wars. It can go die in a hole.
- RR-Day. While I exploited it, I know it was a bad part of Guild Wars.
- Costume Brawl isn't year-round.
- Removing TA.

Ugly:

- Removing HB. Still kind of peeved they got rid of it.
- The elitism in HA. I can't stand it, and it's the reason I've never HAed much. It's a catch 22.
- The state of current GvG. It's sad to see it die this way

I've really gotten over most of GW1 faults, and I'm looking forward to a new experience in GW2.

Good:
Making the "non-playing" stuff easier:
- Templates
- Party Search
- Map Travel
- Services in Guild Hall

The Daily/Weekly/Monthly change-ups:
- Z-quests.
- Nick
- Weekend Events/Bonuses.

Cosmetic Titles, to give some goals to see more of the game:
- Cartography, Vanquishing, etc.

Heroes, and to a lesser extent Henchmen:
- You can't always find enough other people to play with.
- "GLF 2 monks to go!"

Bad:
Lack of diversity of playing feel between classes
- Too easy to steal from second profession. A Ne/Me is mostly the same as a Me/Ne.
- There's melee attack, ranged/caster attack, heal/prot, buff and run, tank and ball.... and that's about it.

Silly Annoyances for the sake of the story:
- Not being able to merch in Jade Sea/Echovald when you have the wrong faction.
- Required Heroes in Nightfall missions.

NPC behavior in quests/missions:
- Leeroooooooy Rurik.
- Mhenlo/Togo getting stuck in Vizunah.

Skill performance tied to title grind:
- EotN skills are the worst
- Remember the "10/8" days of Ursan?

Speed Clear Cults removing all other forms of PuGs for elite areas.

Ugly:
Certain builds clearly dominate most other options
- Shadow Form
- Ursan, pre-Nerf
- SoS
- Armor ignoring damage (still).

Multi-hour areas needing completely different team build at the end than to get to the ending.
- My first playthrough of EotN I was avoiding the wiki's as much as possible, so I didn't know what was going on. It's wasn't too bad until I got to Heart of Shiverpeaks. Steamrolled through most of the maps, and then got totally punked by Cyndr. I don't mind coming up with different options, and trying them out until success, but making me fight for an hour or so between attempts is just fail.
- Many EotN dungeons are this way.
- End effect: severely limits the team build options for success.

"Gimmick" teams, which can easily do what a balanced team struggles with, and much faster and more reliabily.
- EoE against Urgoz
- KD-spawn and then pull Kanaxai to the other side.
- Buffed Soloer & the Great Destroyer
- Signet of Sorrow spam Duncan.

The Good
  • It's Guild Wars.
  • Heroes.
  • 7 Heroes party.
  • Hard Mode.
  • Dungeons and Elite areas.
  • Pre-Searing.
  • Skill system.
  • No required grinds to complete content.
  • Early "endgame" due to low level cap.
  • Easy to get maxed out gear and weapons.
  • Titles to give players with too much time on their hands things to go for.
  • No pay-2-win content in the cash shop.

The Bad
  • No jumping (limited game engine).
  • PUG'ing died (but yes, Heroes are still a good thing =P).
  • Alliance Battles died (I miss it).
  • Pointless titles (Sweet Tooth, Drunkard, Party Animal).
  • Too grindy titles (any PvP title, Treasure Hunter, Wisdom).
  • Overpriced costumes in the cash shop.
  • Underpowered Elementalists (yes, I believe they got even worse with the last skill "balance").

The Ugly
  • Con sets (no thanks to instant god-mode to anyone with 9K to spare).
  • Speed clears (bye bye grouping with people to do elite areas with).

Gods:
All the new things. Like GWBeyond.

Bad:
All the old things that stay. Like the outmoded drop system in Prophecies and Factions, and the slow ascension, level, quest, skill and enemy party distribution in Prophecies that results in people skipping right to the desert, and not having skills, armors and weapon drops for the new professions in old campaigns.

Ugly?
Hm... I suppose the farming and SCs still working the way they do.

But it's all ok, it all will be gone in GW2. No gimmick builds when you can't mix more than you should.

Good:

Too lazy to type everything I think is good in this game

Bad:

Elitism, stupidity (basically, the bad things that are in all games)

Ugly:

Speed Clearing: Why is this still viable? Just glad it's at least a LITTLE better after Jan 6, but really...

gwpvx.com: (this website makes people have the mindset that if they aren't running something from here, they're wrong). I'm all for guides, but it shouldn't be "run this or fail"
